Moiré and the In-camera Sharpness Setting

I intentionally created a Moiré pattern by putting a series of 1 pixel tall black and white horizontal lines on my computer screen and photographing the screen so each screen pixel would be about the size of a photosite on the sensor.
(50mm f/1.8D at 1.77m)

Here are 100% crops from the center of each of the six images:


Although Sharpness had an effect on the "graininess" of the Moiré, it had no effect on the Moiré itself.
